Review: Lush: Party On

I know I recently told you all about my Little Green Bag from Lush. There were a few other items I recently picked up. One was a 'retro' item. When Lush calls an item retro what it really means is retired or they don't sell enough in store so it's online only.

This is one heck of an amazing soap. You've heard of shower gel, but have you heard of shower JELLY!?!? This is Party On. It's a lemon and mint shower jelly.

It really is a jello texture. LOOK! The best way to use it is to use a knife and carve out a few chunks. You can wield the whole thing in the shower but it's going to feel awkward. I have a few large chunks that I reach for when it's time for suds.

The lemon + mint smell kind of smells like a cough drop at first. It would have ended up in the drawer if it didn't make my skin feel super awake. The mint makes your skin feel chilly in a simply girly decadent way. It is as if you just stepped out into a chilly day, but your wrapped in warm (if the the water is hot in your shower.) If you have trouble waking up in the shower - this will TERMINATE that problem. The post shower skin smell, is VERY muted. Don't worry that you'll smell like a cough drop. Instead you'll say, who needs coffee, lets run all of the laps!!
