Review: Movie: Avengers

The new Avengers movie is here. If you've followed the rise of these heroes you know that this has been a long time coming.

It started with the Hulk movie that Edward Norton starred in. Norton wouldn't sign on for the Avengers with worries it wouldn't do well, but I think Mark Ruffalo played it better (or maybe I'm miffed at Norton for NOT trusting the fans.) Then came not one but two Iron Man movies with Robbert Downey Jr. After that Thor and Captain America quickly followed.

These movies gave us the back stories of these characters. (Especially helpful for people like me who had always heard of the comics but had never read them.)

The plot is expected and a little thin. *Hey we're are good guys. Lets fight this bad guy. Surprise we are hard headed and don't get along. Guess we will have to get past that.*

Although the plot isn't anything special the characters are. You FEEL for each one. There have literally been hours worth of movies developing each character. One of my favorite characters is Black Widow.  Since I've never read the comics I don't know her back story.

The main villain is from the Thor movie. I would recommend seeing all of 5 of the individual hero movies. There is also an Avenger teaser at the end of each one.
