Resolutions 2: Weight Loss

To start the year I said NO to fast foods, and I haven't eaten anything deep fried since 2011!!

YAY!

In the absence of fried food, I found my self snacking on different chocolaty treats. I still have some holiday goodies floating around my house. I may have had a few too many this past week.

I will continue NOT eating fast food, but as of today I will eat NO chocolate. I do get 3 cheat items, but that's it.

I didn't eat my 3 cheats items this week, but I'm not add that to this week. I want to be able to do it.

I was also hoping to have a weigh in for you, but my scales battery was dead ;/ I may update this post once I get batteries.

  1. So proud of you! I find that I like to snack A LOT. But the trick making sure I've got healthy snacks laying around instead of sugary, high-calorie snacks. It's too bad you and fruit aren't best friends, because apples and peanut butter are my faaaaaavorite! What kinda snack substitutes are you trying to eat in lieu of chocolatey foods?

  2. For now I have been snacking on granola, carrots, gold fish, and pretzels. I may get more healthy choices as this goes on, but it seems that most healthy snacks that aren't fruit, are covered in chocolate. Bleh.
