Resolutions: Week 2

Here are my resolutions.

Style:
1) Wear everything in my closet. If I don't wear it, I donate it.
2) Wear at least one skirt or dress a week.
3) Loose 30lbs
4) Do a LOTD or EOTD once a month
5) DON'T CUT MY HAIR IN 2012
6) Give my blog a more consistent look

Money:

7) Tithe (give an offering to my church)  and put money in my savings every paycheck.
8) Coupon and put my saving in my savings. Keep track and then use that for Christmas money! We'll see how it goes!

Craft:
9) Finished all my unfinished projects. (sewing and knitting)
10) Finish my LA scrapbook. (I did a semester there in 2008.)

Other:
11) Go see Rocky Horror in Costume at a Theater.
12) Finish unpacking (I moved in August 2011 and this is still an issue.)

The Results
1) I've already added a few things to my donation basket. I'm trying to find a better way to organize. I'm switching rooms soon and I think going through my clothes then will really help.

2) I failed again so far I'm just .5/52, but maybe I will make it up by wearing a few this next week!

3) See second post

4) I've got one in the works. The lighting wasn't as good as I thought it was. I might re-do before I post.

5) It's growing! I may take a picture soon so I can have a before and after.

6) This post matches my original resolution post, but I want to start digging into the HTML and such.

7) I started a system where I just round to the next dollar when I put my expenses in my iPhone app and then the difference will go in savings. Like a virtual change jar. As far as tithing I am waiting till next paycheck to give this paycheck. I set it aside, but then bills were higher than expected :/ I'm still going to tithe what I should from this paycheck. It will just be delayed.

8) I was VERY behind on my grocery shopping and this past time was mostly buy what you need and then use coupons if you have them. I saved about $6 and will owe myself next paycheck.

9) I think I only have one ufo (unfinished object), but last night I started a sweater. That is a step in the wrong direction.

10) I'm hoping for a scan-extravagansa this weekend.

11) n/a

12) I fell pretty unpacked, but I'm waiting to switch rooms before I count this as done. I also need to finish putting out my jewelry.

  1. I really enjoy reading your resolution updates, but your lists are a little confusing. I'd recommend that combine your actual resolutions and your achievement lists. Just bold the resolutions, add a colon, then follow with your results.

Overall, I think you're making headway! You set out a lot of resolutions for yourself. A little movement on all goals or a lot of movement on one goal is better than nothing! Keep it up!

    2. Sure thing! ALSO. HOW DID YOU FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE REPLY THREADS ON YOUR BLOGGER? I must have it!

    3. Not sure. On my mobile version I see a reply button. Not sure if I need to change something on my blog to make it always show.
