Review: Movie: In Time

I rented this movie from Redbox because I got a free promo code. I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be quite stunning.

It's set in a future where humans have been genetically engineered to stop aging at 25 and then they have a year to live. Time is the currency. Running and being in a rush is considered to be what poor people do.

When your time is up you die. You can also die before your time is up if you are injured or do what have you.

The rich are basically immortal. They horde time, but since they could die via injury they all live very bland lives.

Time is measured on their arms. The rich often wear gloves or long sleeves to show they don't need to look at their time. The poor are constantly making sure they aren't about to run out.

Until I watched the movie I thought Dakota Fanning played Justin Timberlake's counter part. This is a picture of her character from the Twilight series.

I didn't realize till I heard the voice that it was actually Amanda Seyfried. My mind was pretty blown. In this side by side Amanda is on the left and Dakota is on the right.

Have you seen this movie? What did you think.
